When Getting It Right Means Business

The Becoming of A New Entrepreneur
A Short Story

Imagine that...

You're starting a new business. The business model you have adopted will rely on the following for business growth.

  • Well organized easy to find decision-making information for your prospective customers' use.

  • This information will come from two main sources. Your knowledge and that of your contributors.

  • The information will be focused on a single theme of your choosing.

  • You will give (not charge for) decision-making information. You will only charge for some of your most critical know-how and its related the products.

  • You will not charge your contributors for the space you allocate them to contribute useful information related to your theme.

  • You retain complete control over what information is ultimately offered within your premises.

The Grand Opening

You organize an open-house party to celebrate the event. People by the hundreds stop by to have a look at your new spacious and well organized business place.

At first glance it looks like a two-story shopping mall.

Everybody is free to roam and visit the "information boutiques" where you and selectively invited boutique "owners" contribute - at no charge - helpful decision-making information on the products that are displayed and the services that you offer.

All your visitors rapidly find what they want from an information panel installed at each entrance point giving clear directions.

  • All the "information boutiques" are grouped by sub-themes.

  • They are all located on the same level.

  • All are rapidly accessible from any entrance point.

You do not charge your contributors rent for their "boutique" space! Why?

The extra visitor traffic
that your "information boutique" contributors generate
is very good for your business.

Armed with all the information they need, your visitors become customers because they are now able to make informed decisions.

This time ... you've followed the advice of your architect. And it works marvelously.

  • A constantly growing number of your well informed visitors are becoming customers.

  • You even have ample space reserved for future expansion. :-)

  • Best of all, you are achieving results beyond your expectations on a micro-budget.

Your Previous Attempt
Had Not Been Such A "Big Hit"

You only had a small office and a reception room.

The information destined to help your customers make informed decisions was arranged in neat stack, in the middle of the room.

  1. You would add pages of information on top of the pile every day.

  2. Your visitors would leaf through the first few pages on top of the pile ... often not finding what they were looking for.

  3. Some would leave a comment, a suggestion, a question or a new piece of information on top of the pile then leave.

  4. You would respond with the requested info on a page that you would put on top of the pile for them to find on their next visit.

  5. A few days later that visitor would come back and leaf through the first few pages on top of the pile.

  6. Not finding the requested info you had left for her, she would leave again dissatisfied.

The problem was...

The pile had grown since you last added the answer she was looking for ... effectively burying your page of info that you had added on top of the pile for her.

Your former business model was based
on a "pile" of useful information, but...

That business model was "vertically" arranging vital decision-making information. It was not working for either you or your visitors because your visitors were not able to rapidly find the info they were looking for.

Fact Or fiction?

The short story above is based on a facts. Here they are.

SBI! 2.0

The rent-free space that you give your contributors allows them to add extra useful decision-making information to yours, which effectively increases your visitor traffic ... and your sales.

In the story above, the "information boutique" analogy illustrates how the SBI! 2.0 business model lets you create a near limitless number of extra pages of useful information on your business Web site.

Those extra pages of useful information are
contributed by members of your target audience...
because they want and like to do so!

This feature of SBI! 2.0 is the same Web 2.0 technology that FaceBook, YouTube and Twitter use to grow their business.

SBI! 2.0
is Web 2.0 for small business.

Just as powerful. Just as effective.

Your "boutique" contributors get extra visibility as they also benefit from the ever increasing traffic going through your business Web site.

SBI! 2.0

It's a win-win arrangement.

  • In the story, the "business model" that failed was based on a "pile" of useful information.

  • On the Web, that "business model" is called a Blog.

Give Your Business The Edge

SBI! 2.0 gives your business the unsurmountable edge it needs to rise and stay above the competition.

  1. The more useful information your business Web site suplies

  2. the bigger a target your business becomes

  3. making it easier for people to find you instead of your competitors! ;-)

I highly recommend SBI! because I use it to build my business. I know it works.
