Increase Web Site Income As Google Partner August 27, 2009 |

"Google had a very good quarter, especially given the continued macro-economic downturn. While most of the world's largest economies shrank, Google's year-over-year revenues were up 3%". "Google reports revenues of $5.52 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, an increase of 3% compared to the second quarter of 2008". |
My newsletter this month is about my profitable partnership with Google.
The same profitable outcome is yours for the taking.

I know you won't believe what I'm going to tell you this month. But, I'm writing it anyway because...
It is good news ... almost (but certainly not) unbelievably so.
It is based on a cumulation of verifiable facts.
I'm not the only Web site owner to benefit from the phenomenon.
You could easily profit from the same phenomenon. Easily but, admittedly, not without some work. You just have to make every action count (more on this below).
The Google Adsense income from my Web sites has tripled since the financial collapse was officially announced in October 2008 ... and the deepening recession that followed!
Yes, tripled. And it does not look like it will stop there, for two reasons.
The traffic to my Web sites continues to grow. People are using the Internet in search of answers to their problems and needs. They are doing it in earnest too!
Google is taking aggressive steps to increase it's revenue from its advertisers who are using Adwords. (See their Q2 results above).
The resulting effect of "A" means that the increasing traffic to my Web sites is increasing the likelihood of someone clicking on a Google Adsense ad. Never mind "likelihood". They are and the number of clicks on the ads posted on my pages has increased! :-)
My three Web sites generated 348,460 page views over the last 12 months! The ads on those pages got a lot of exposure ... and clicks!
Best of all, Google's strategy is only just beginning to work, not only for them but for me and all other owners of Web sites posting Google Adsense ads on their pages.
Here is what is happening.
Traditionally, Google would analyze the content of each page of my Web sites and post context-relevant ads on them.
By context-relevant, I mean ads for products and/or services that bear a certain degree of relationship with what the Web page is about.
For example, where I have a Web page about ham radio antennas on www.HamRadioSecrets.com, Google posts ads from its bank of advertisers who offer antennas, antenna parts, antenna design software ... to name only a few relevant products.
As another example, where I have a page about weather forecasts on www.Weather-In-Canada-Observer.com, Google posts ads from its bank of advertisers who offer a product or service related to weather forecasting.
My Web site visitors click on those ads from Google Adsense.
On April 8 2009, Google began optimizing the posting of ads on our Web pages. Here is a quote from Google Adsense help.
"Interest-based advertising enables advertisers to reach users based on their interests (e.g. 'sports enthusiasts'), and allows them to show ads based on a user's previous interactions with them, such as visits to advertiser websites".
"Interest-based advertising should help monetize your website more efficiently, increase value for advertisers, and provide a better experience for users".
And it works!
My income from Google Adsense has tripled since they began implementing this new ad posting strategy on my Web sites.
But wait! There's more.
Here is a copy of an email I received from Google on August 26, 2009.
"Hi,
We're writing to let you know about an upcoming update in your AdSense account designed to help you generate the maximum revenue from your ad units. You'll soon be able to allow multiple ad networks to show on your pages, which means that advertisers from external Google-certified networks will be able to compete with AdWords advertisers for your ad space.
If you're unfamiliar with what ad networks are, they're companies that partner with advertisers and publishers to buy and sell ads on sites they don't own themselves, similar to AdSense. Ads from these networks will compete with Google ads to show on publisher sites, and the ad generating the highest revenue for publishers will be displayed.
To ensure the quality of the ads appearing on your sites, we're certifying all participating ad networks for adherence to our standards for user privacy, ad quality, and speed. You'll also have control over which networks can show ads on your pages -- you can choose to opt out of receiving ads from specific networks, or all networks completely. This means you can continue to show ads from only AdWords advertisers if you'd like.
Finally, some ad networks use tools similar to Google's interest-based advertising to show more relevant ads to users on the sites they visit. These ad networks won't be permitted to collect data from your site for the purpose of subsequent interest-based advertising, but we'll allow those who comply with user privacy guidelines to show ads using these tools. You'll have the ability to opt out of showing ads based on user interests from these ad networks, and we've changed our requirements for third-party ad serving to reflect this. More information is available at http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=94230 .
These new capabilities will automatically be enabled for your account, and you'll see a new section in your Ad Review Center where you can allow or block specific ad networks. Please note that we'll gradually be adding new ad networks to AdSense accounts over the next few months, so you won't see any immediate impact on your ads or your earnings.
To learn more about this launch and managing the ad networks appearing on your pages, visit the AdSense Help Center at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=13522 and watch our video demo at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HyJPOVLd3I .
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team

See? I told you I had Good News!

My income from Google Ads is about to increase even more with the combined affect of...
The ever increasing traffic on all my Web sites. How do I know my traffic will continue to grow? Because I apply the SBI! Business Building Process. That's how.
Google's Interest-based Advertising strategy will continue to have increasingly positive effect on my Google Adsense income. How do I know? Because Google is out to make more money ... and the more money they make through my Web sites, the greater the size of my share of those revenues!
... and now, Google is about to let new "outside" advertisers "compete" for the ad space on my Web sites pages. Google will post the ads that pay them (and me) the most. Cool!
Life is truly great! :-)

P.S. By the way, if you do not yet have a Web site that really draws an increasing volume of traffic, month after month, then don't you think you should?
With SBI! and its C-T-P-M Proven Business Building Process you can build your Web site so that it, too, will generate profits by posting ads from the Google Adsense augmented ad posting program.
