A word of caution though. Free business plans do not free you from exercising due diligence. They help you build a virtual prototype of what your business will be. You can test your ideas, strategies and tactics offline. You can discover the weak points and pitfalls ahead of time, and plan measures to avoid them. You can prevent a lot of damage control later.
Finally, you end up having everything written down and thoroughly thought out. When you get your plans up to that level, you can go ahead with confidence. You will also have the tested arguments to convince others as a bonus!
