The reason behind your decision to stay home, will feed your motivation … at first. However, you have needs that lie beyond the imperatives mentioned above, such as:
- Eliminating the costs, in time and money, of daily commuting to work.
- Earning income doing something more satisfying than making telephone calls, stuffing envelopes, or doing house parties.
- Being yourself, freely promoting your own ideas.
- Being recognized for what you are truly worth.
You can and should satisfy those needs. They are legitimate, after all!
Joining the swelling ranks of mom entrepreneurs can - and will - satisfy those profoundly personal needs.

As other mom entrepreneurs before you, you know, or will soon find out, that you have things to learn. Starting a home based Web business requires more than just passion, motivation, and brain power.
You must fuel all that energy with high quality, reliable information about all aspects of your projected business.
- You want to find out how to use your unique knowledge and know-how to help others, yourself and your family.

- You need to find out how you can work it in your already busy schedule at home.

Sources Of Information
In the old days, you would have bought books from the book store, or borrowed them from your local library. These would have been your learning aids of choice. You would also have sought the advice and guidance from:
- a member of your family,
- or someone knowledgeable, ready, willing, and available in your local community.
- preferably one of the many successful mom entrepreneurs (if you could find one!).
Today, in addition - and sometimes instead - you can tap the "Universal Encyclopedia" that the World Wide Web has become. The Web abounds with information and knowledgeable people, in all fields of activity.
Granted, not all that you read on the WWW is reliable or even useful.
You can overcome the difficulty of finding reliable, and relevant sources of information when you search the Web by :
- Using the last, known reliable, source of information that you visited (a web site related to the subject of your research … mine for example!:-).
- Using the links to additional information sources offered by the Web site you have come to trust.
- A reliable Web searching tool.
